Creation paths compared

Quick Clip or Director Mode?

InkFlick has two main creation paths. Quick Clip turns one line or photo into a 5–30 second clip. Director Mode gives you script, storyboard, video, and continuing-episode control, with an opening episode of up to about 3 minutes and later episodes of up to about 60 seconds. Choose by how much control your story needs.

Common questions

Quick Clip and Director Mode FAQ

What is the difference between Quick Clip and Director Mode?

Quick Clip is the fastest path: one line or photo becomes a 5–30 second finished clip with no script or timeline. Director Mode gives you control at every stage—script, cast, storyboards, quality—before generating video. A Director Mode project can open with an episode of up to about 3 minutes; added episodes run up to about 60 seconds. Choose Quick Clip for speed, Director Mode for review and precision.

Can Director Mode continue a series?

Yes. Keep the same cast and visual direction, then add later episodes inside the Director Mode project. Use Quick Clip for a one-off shot and Director Mode for serial storytelling.

Is InkFlick available on Mac?
