What is InkFlick?

InkFlick is an AI short-drama maker for iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Windows, with two creation paths. Quick Clip turns one line or one photo into a finished 5–30 second shot. Director Mode is for full dramas: open with an episode of up to about 3 minutes, shape the script, cast, storyboards, and final video step by step, then keep adding episodes of up to about 60 seconds. InkFlick is free to download; AI generation uses Credits.

How long can an InkFlick video be?

A Quick Clip is 5–30 seconds. In Director Mode you pick the first episode's length before the script is written, from about 15 seconds up to about 3 minutes. Episodes you add after that run up to about 60 seconds each. Longer episodes use more Credits, and you see the cost before you generate.

How much does InkFlick cost?

InkFlick is free to download. New users receive 500 welcome Credits, and the free tier includes up to 15 script episodes per month. AI image and video generation uses Credits. Plus includes 2,800 monthly Credits and a 15% generation discount; Pro includes 7,500 monthly Credits and a 25% discount. Credit pack prices are shown on this website; membership (Plus/Pro) prices are shown in the app. In-app purchases are processed by Apple, while available web purchases use Stripe.

How long does AI video generation take?

Generation time depends on clip length, quality, queue demand, and whether you are creating one shot or a full episode. A Quick Clip often takes about a minute to render; longer or higher-quality episodes take longer. InkFlick keeps rendering in the background and can notify you when the work is ready.

What languages does InkFlick support?

The app and this website support English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Indonesian, and Thai. AI dialogue and sound capabilities vary by production settings.

Can I put myself or my pet in a story?

Yes. Start from a clear photo to create a reusable actor, or attach a photo directly to a Quick Clip. Reusable cast members can appear across stories and be restyled for different visual worlds. Showcase also includes Cast Me templates that put your lead into a ready-made title.

Can InkFlick turn my novel into a video series?

Yes. Paste up to 50,000 characters, or upload .txt, .md, or .docx files. Director Mode can map the text and adapt it chapter by chapter; Plus and Pro also include script export.

Who owns the dramas I create?

Your stories stay yours, and the dramas you generate are yours to keep and share, subject to the Terms of Use. You are responsible for having the rights to any text, photos, or documents you upload.

What happens if a generation fails?

Credits spent on a failed generation are returned to your balance automatically. If your balance ever looks wrong, contact support and we will investigate.
